- I felt very well-informed and greatly appreciated all the information about staffing that was provided. We knew just what to expect, made preparations less stressful.
- (She) has been telling us that of all the camps she has attended- this was by far the BEST!
- He loved He was a little apprehensive about going, but once there he can’t stop talking about it and is looking forward to trying to become staff next year.
- (She) loved her experience at camp and has even kept in touch with a couple new friends she met. She is more than interested in staying involved.
- We understand that it costs money to put on quality programs and to be able to get speakers to come in. Summer camps cost $- that’s just the way it is!
- Understand that these costs are tied to the program. The memories and skills learned far outweigh the cost.
- It’s great to have a fun camp where kids learn life skills (without them thinking they are learning) and have something close to home.
- We highly recommend to others that they attend future camps. (She) walked away with a lot of good things that I know will help her deal with peer relations and school situations in the future.
- Great experience! So very happy my daughter was involved and so was she! We recommended to any other parent 100%! It was overall great and thank you for having this available to our children!
- I can’t thank you enough for all the hard work you and your team put forth to make all this happen. (He) was very reluctant to attend ATLC. We had a lot of convincing to do to get him to go. He is very afraid of change and stepping outside of his comfort zone. In the end, you and your team have made the biggest impact you could ever imagine on this boy. He went there with a negative attitude, reserved, shy, and with very low self-esteem. Yesterday when we picked him up, I immediately saw a difference in his behavior and attitude. I can’t even explain the impact and difference you have all made with him. He now understands and sees that his “friends” aren’t friends. He sees that he has the ability to make a difference in how others treat him. He told us last night that the last night at ATLC when everyone was saying goodbye – one girl gave him a compliment of how funny she thought he was. He said he couldn’t help but cry because nobody has ever complimented him like that, he’s never had friends who were nice to him. He’s always struggled with his peers. This was an amazing experience for (him) and we are so very thankful that he was given this opportunity. I just wanted to reach out and let you know what a positive impact this has made on (him). I can’t thank you and your team enough.
